MSC Cruises has announced an exciting lineup for MSC World America, featuring Dirty Dancing in Concert. The classic Lionsgate film. The show will be supported by a spectacular live band, singers and dancers. MSC World America will also introduce a new world of entertainment with industry-leading theatrical talent, brand-new guest activities, venue activations and productions.
In addition to the first-ever Dirty Dancing concert at sea, MSC World America will also showcase an array of international entertainment onboard for all ages from live concert experiences, magic shows, and a modern circus-style show. There also will be immersive activities at Luna Park from e-gaming and dance classes to family gameshow and themed experiences. We are sure that there will be something to wow all guests onboard.
Theatrical Productions
MSC World America’s World Theatre will feature four new entertainment experiences which have been produced in collaboration with industry-leading creators and producers. These productions will take the stage at the 1,150-seat World Theatre.
New | Dirty Dancing: Each sailing will include multiple showings for guests to experience Dirty Dancing in Concert, with a matinee showing on sea days. Throughout the 90-minute show, there will be a talented band with incredible singers alongside dazzling dancers amping up the atmosphere. But the best bit of all is during the finale where you can take part in the show by singing along and dancing to a Dirty Dancing-themed after-party which will continue well into the night of your sailing.
New | Odyssey: This production is a captivating acrobatic spectacle set against the dreamlike backdrop of an ethereal journey influenced by Homer’s Odyssey.
New | Momentous: Get ready to watch one of the largest illusion shows to be produced at sea which features a renowned resident guest artist who will captivate and amaze the audience with impressive moments of magic. This show will be in collaboration with Twins FX, who are known for the stunning special effects in the musical “Back to the Future”. They have also worked on Doctor Who, Mission Impossible and The Mummy just to name a few.
New | Hall of Fame: Experience a live pop concert featuring iconic music and unforgettable moments of pop legends. This event is produced by ONLYCHILD, a multidisciplinary creative studio renowned for its work and collaborations in music, fashion, live theatre, and film. Their impressive credits include A-list music stars like Kylie Minogue, as well as partnerships with major brands such as MTV, Netflix, Vogue, and Missoni.
Panorama Lounge
Located at the back of the ship and will feature two NEW incredible live theatrical music concerts which will run on different nights of the week, with wellness programs taking place in the lounge during the day. MSC Cruises has collaborated with multi-award-winning production company TBI Media who specialise in creating and producing content for lead artists, broadcasters and major brands, from the Disney Theatrical Group to TikTok, and major large-scale live events for BBC television and radio.
New | Queen Symphonic: The Queen Symphonic will showcase a spectacular blend of Queen’s greatest hits on a theatrical scale which will be performed by a rock band alongside talented singers, dancers, and awe-inspiring acrobatics. The show will also feature a 36-piece pre-recorded orchestra as the backdrop for the show.
New | Cinesonic: Want to listen to all the iconic movie songs and cinematic scores? Then make sure you go to Cinesonic where you can do all that and watch it all come to life by state-of-the-art motion graphics and exhilarating performance. With new musical arrangements crafted exclusively for MSC Cruises, this concert will celebrate the best of movie magic!
Street Theatre
Throughout your cruise onboard you will experience a variety of surprise and delight pop-up moments from world-class performers throughout the ship. So make sure when you are walking around you don’t miss out on these fascinating experiences.
Immersive Activities at Luna Park
Luna Park will be the place to go when you are looking for great entertainment onboard. During the day there will be dance classes, enrichment talks, movies, e-games and virtual reality experiences. But, through the night there will be family and kids’ parties, family games and late-night themed experiences for adults such as a Miami Nights and Après, a Euro Alpine Party.
New Venue: The Loft
The Loft will be a new venue to feature onboard MSC Cruises. This venue will cater to the North American market with a space for adults to come together and enjoy evening entertainment that goes late into the night with duelling pianos, comedy shows karaoke and a late-night DJ.

MSC World America will be the second ship to join MSC’s World Class and she will be bringing an eye-catching silhouette across the Miami skyline.
