If you’ve spoken to any of the team at Paramount Cruises you’ll soon realise that many of us are big Formula 1 enthusiasts! So when there is a chance to pair a Grand Prix with a cruise holiday we do exactly that. For 2026 we’ve launched our exclusive escorted Spanish Grand Prix and cruise experience. This package ticks so many boxes that we’re certain this will be a holiday to remember. Not only will you immerse yourselves in the glamour of the Western Med onboard a stunning ship with an all-inclusive drinks package and gratuities included, but you’ll also then disembark in Barcelona to experience the thrills of the Spanish Grand Prix during your three-night stay in the capital of Catalunya.
All-Inclusive Western Mediterranean Cruise
Itinerary: Barcelona | Marseille | Genoa | Naples | Messina | Valetta | Barcelona
MSC World Europa – Departing 5h June 2026
Your adventure begins with a 7-night all-inclusive Mediterranean cruise on the stunning MSC World Europa. Setting sail from Barcelona, you’ll explore captivating destinations including Marseille (France), Genoa (Italy), Naples (Italy), Messina (Sicily, Italy), and Valletta (Malta), before returning to Barcelona where this epic holiday moves into the fast lane. Enjoy a truly worry-free experience with a premium drinks package and gratuities included from the moment you step aboard.
Premium Drinks Package Included
Our Spanish Grand Prix & Med cruise offer includes the premium drinks package which you’ll be able to take advantage of from the minute you get on board. Quench your thirst whenever you like with a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We’re sure you’ll agree this is one of the most comprehensive drinks packages at sea. Onboard gratuities are also included as standard with MSC Cruises.
Barcelona Hotel Stay
We love Barcelona in springtime, the weather is perfect for enjoying drinks in a rooftop bar before heading out to dinner at one of Barcelona’s many fantastic restaurants. From your hotel in the heart of the Eixample district, most of Barcelona’s top sights such as La Sagrada Família, the Arc de Triomf, Gaudi’s Casa Batiló and Casa Milà are all within easy reach. Not to mention the numerous bars and restaurants which are guaranteed to satisfy all your culinary needs. If you’ve not visited Barcelona before do ask our team about extending your stay either before the cruise or after the race weekend.

Spanish Grand Prix Experience
From the moment you step off the ship, we’ll be there to look after you. We have years of experience escorting our guests to the Circuit de Catalunya so you know you’ll be in safe hands. Plus we are the only UK cruise agent registered as an official agent for the Circuit de Catalunya, giving us direct access to great value pricing. Your transfers to and from the track are included so no need to queue for a packed shuttle or have to walk in the heat from the train station. The journey from the hotel to the track takes around 45 minutes so you won’t need to wake up at the crack of dawn to get to the track. Plus we leave plenty of time after the race for you to take part in the customary track invasion, so there is no need to rush back to the coach when the podium celebrations are still taking place!

Our package includes weekend grandstand tickets in either grandstands J or K offering you perfect views as the cars speed along the start / finish straight and head for the first corner. You’ll also enjoy views of the cars as they make their way down the hill into turns 6,7 and 8. You’ll be perfectly positioned to catch the rest of the action on the big screens so you won’t miss any overtakes! The Circuit de Catalunya also offers some of the best value hospitality upgrades on the calendar. Over the years we’ve sat in pretty much every stand and tried out some of the hospitality options so if you’re not sure which one to choose, just ask.
Don’t be fooled by packages that offer General Admission tickets. Whilst these are a bit cheaper you’ll need to bring with you picnic blankets or chairs which just isn’t feasible if you’ve just disembarked from a week cruising the Mediterranean. The best spots are taken from the moment the gates open, so once you’ve found a suitable spot you’ll need to stick to it and not move, which isn’t ideal if you’d like to explore the fanzone or grab some food.

Spanish Grand Prix Support Races
Adding to the excitement of the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix, you’ll also enjoy action-packed races from Formula 1’s main feeder series, Formula 2 and Formula 3, as they take to the track over the weekend. Plus, the adrenaline continues with the thrilling Porsche Supercup, making this an unmissable motorsport spectacle for fans of all levels!
Is there a Fanzone at the Spanish Grand Prix?
Yes, there certainly is! Located behind the Main Grandstand, the Fanzone is the ultimate hub for fans to immerse themselves in the Grand Prix atmosphere. Here, you can shop for merchandise from your favourite teams (although you can often find cheaper options right by our coach parking), explore interactive displays from major sponsors, or grab a bite to eat and a refreshing drink. Don’t miss the Boulevard of Champions (Avinguda dels Campions), also in this area, where plaques honour the World Championship-winning drivers and MotoGP riders who have competed at the circuit over the past 30 years, a must-see for any motorsport enthusiast!
Post-Race Track Invasion
One of the highlights of attending the Spanish Grand Prix is the opportunity to walk on the track after the race concludes. Fans can gather on the start/finish straight to witness the podium ceremony up close, a truly unforgettable experience. Please note that access gates open at select points around the circuit and remain available for a limited time. Security will then clear the track shortly after the podium celebrations conclude. Do not fear, our transfers back to your hotel depart an hour after the race concludes so you can certainly join your fellow fans on the track.
Spanish Grand Prix Important Info
There is a full alcohol ban at the circuit unless you are in a hospitality venue, so please do not bring any beer or alcohol into the circuit, searches are conducted by the stewards on entrance. Only non-alcoholic beer is on sale inside the circuit, but there are bars just outside a few of the entrance gates where you can get the real thing. If you really want to get into the swing of it, join the predominantly Dutch fans (yes they love a drink just as much as they love Max!) and others just outside the circuit and sing along before taking your seat in the grandstand. You are free to walk in and out of the circuit throughout the day. You are not allowed any metal or glass bottles so if you are bringing a refillable bottle, please ensure it is plastic. Barcelona in June can be hot, so make sure to drink plenty of water!
