MSC Cruises Opens Sales For World Cruise 2025

MSC Cruises have announced their 2025 World Cruise is now officially open for bookings, it is scheduled to take place onboard MSC Magnifica. Make dreams of travelling the world a reality in 2025 and embark on the journey of a lifetime with MSC Cruises. Unpack once and watch the world go by (quite literally) MSC Magnifica will journey to hidden gems and iconic sights of 5 continents on this ultimate World Cruise across the water’s farthest reaches.​

When is the World Cruise departing and where can you embark?

The itinerary is made up of 116 nights starting in January and ending in May, including 50 incredible destinations across 21 countries. The world cruise is set to depart on the 4th of January 2025, from Civitavecchia. Passengers can either choose to embark in Civitavecchia or they may join the World Cruise in Genoa, Marseille or Barcelona on the 5, 6 and 7 of January, respectively.

What does the MSC World Cruise 2025 consist of?

In three months, the ship will travel 30,000 nautical miles starting the voyage from the Western Mediterranean visiting five continents, stopping in five countries and ending in Barcelona on May 3. With seven overnight stays and 22 destinations never before featured on an MSC world cruise, crossing three of the world’s largest oceans this is not one to miss!

MSC World Cruise Itinerary Highlights & First-Time Destinations

After one week of the world cruise, guests will spend their first days at sea, whilst MSC Magnifica makes her way to Casablanca and Mindelo in the Cape Verde Islands. She will then cross the Atlantic Ocean on the way to Rio de Janeiro during the first month of the world cruise.

This spectacular world cruise itinerary then includes 10 days of exploring South America in ports like Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Valparaiso. There will be overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Valparaiso, Chile, as well as a visit to the Falkland Islands. The following two weeks will see the ship cross the South Pacific Ocean, visiting tropical destinations such as Easter Island, French Polynesia and the Cook Islands.

The second month of the world cruise starts in New Zealand with an eight-day trek of the country’s North and South islands. For the first time, MSC Cruises will be including an Australia journey in their World Cruise itinerary where MSC Magnifica will cross over to Sydney and spend 19 days sailing around the southern and western coasts of Australia.

The highlights of the Australian part of the world cruise include Eden, Melbourne, Adelaide, Penneshaw, Albany and Busselton, as well as the wine-growing region of the Margaret River.

Following are stops in Southeast Asia, including Colombo, Bali, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Thailand. MSC Magnifica’s next journey will be across the Indian Ocean with stops at Aqaba, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Safaga by way of the Arabian and Red Seas.

Finally, the ship will transit the Suez Canal once more to re-enter the Mediterranean Sea, where exciting stops in Alexandria, Messina, and Naples are in store before the end of the 2025 MSC World Cruise.
