Norwegian Cruise Line has officially revealed its newest and most ambitious ship to date. Norwegian Aura will become the largest vessel in the NCL fleet when she launches in 2027, marking the next major evolution of the Prima Plus Class.
Set to debut in May 2027, Norwegian Aura is designed to deliver more space, more attractions, and more flexibility than any Norwegian ship before her. Norwegian Aura will be the longest and largest ship ever built for Norwegian Cruise Line.

Ocean Heights will include more slides than any Norwegian Cruise Line ship to date, including Eclipse Racers, Norwegian’s first dual mat racing waterslides, Aura Free Fall, a body slide featuring a drop floor that plunges riders more than 250 feet, The Wave, a pendulum style group raft ride designed for up to four guests, and The Drop, the signature Prima Class dry slide that runs ten decks down the side of the ship.
Beyond the slides, Ocean Heights will also feature an 82 foot ropes course, a 2525-foot climbing wal82-footthe Aura Midway, an amamusement-styleone with carnival games and mini golf.
More Outdoor Space Than Ever Before
Norwegian Aura has been designed with outdoor living firmly in mind.
Ocean Boulevard on Deck 8 will be eleven percent larger than on previous Prima Class ships. The wraparound promenade will include additional hot tubs, expanded seating areas, and a larger Infinity Beach complete with upgraded day beds.
The main Pool Deck will be the largest in the Norwegian fleet, more than twenty percent larger than Norwegian Aqua. Guests canper cent increased seating, a larger LED screen for poolside entertainment, and an extra infinity hot tub.
For adults only relaxation, the Vibe Beach Club has been expanded by fifteen percent and will introduce NoNorway’sirst overper cent private cabanas, offering uninterrupted ocean views.



Family Friendly Features Onboard
Families will find a wide range of dedicated spaces designed specifically for younger cruisers.
Located towards the forward end of Ocean Boulevard, the family zone includes Adventure Alley, a play area for children aged six to ten with tunnels and crawl spaces, a dedicated Teen Hangout located on the starboard side, and Little Explorer’s Cove, a playground for children aged two to six.
On the top decks, families can also enjoy a Kids Aqua Park with splash features and the Party Slide, designed for all ages.



The Haven: Luxury Suites and Private Areas
The Haven will return on Norwegian Aura with significant upgrades.
This exclusive keycard access complex will feature thirty percent more suites than previous Prima Class shipper centigned by renowned Italian architect Piero Lissoni. The Haven will include a private sundeck, an infinity pool, an outdoor sauna, and enhanced lounge spaces.
Guests staying in The Haven will continue to enjoy priority boarding, concierge service, and access to private dining venues.



Norwegian Aura Itineraries and Homeports
Norwegian Aura will begin service in Europe with a seven night Mediterranean cruise.
Her inauguraseven-nighteparts on 21 May 2027, operating a one-way itinerary from Trieste to Barcelona.
Following a transatlantic crossing, Norwegian Aura will homeport in Miami from June 2027 through October 2027. During her Caribbean season, she will operate seven-night itineraries calling at destinations such as Puerto Plata, St Thomas, Tortola, Great Stirrup Cay, and Harvest Caye.
