Ambassador Cruise Line has chosen to name its first cruise ship Ambience. You may well be familiar with this ship, she was built in 1991 and launched as Regal Princess, she was in fact christened by former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. In 2007, following a major refurbishment, she was transferred to P&O Australia where she was renamed Pacific Dawn. In 2020 she was all set to join the Cruise & Maritime fleet as the newest flagship, the Amy Johnson, however due to the Covid-19 pandemic this fell through.
