Sylvia Earle
Named after renowned marine biologist, oceanographer and conservationist Dr Sylvia Earle, Sylvia Earle is a purpose-built AE Expeditions ship designed to bring guests closer to some of the world's most extraordinary environments.
Carrying a maximum of just 130 guests, the ship combines small-ship expedition cruising with inviting spaces to relax between adventures. The distinctive Ulstein X-BOW® is designed for smoother and more efficient ocean crossings, while extensive observation areas, a glass atrium lounge and outdoor decks keep the landscapes and wildlife firmly in view.
Conservation and discovery are central to life onboard. A dedicated Citizen Science Centre encourages guests to learn more about the destinations they visit, while efficient Zodiac access and purpose-built activity areas make it easy to move from ship to shore when conditions are right.

The streamlined Ulstein X-BOW® is designed to cut smoothly through waves while helping reduce fuel consumption. Inside the bow, a striking two-level glass atrium lounge offers expansive forward-facing views, creating an impressive place to watch for wildlife or simply take in the scenery.
Citizen Science Centre
The dedicated Citizen Science Centre brings exploration and education together. Guests can meet onboard naturalists and members of the Expedition Team, learn about ongoing research and, on selected expeditions, take part in projects that contribute to a better understanding of the natural world.
