Singapore will once again host a round of the Formula 1 World Championship, with the Marina Bay Street Circuit providing a spectacular backdrop for the sport’s original night race. The Singapore Grand Prix is one of F1’s premier destinations and has been confirmed on the race calendar until at least 2028. The 2025 Singapore Grand Prix will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of October.

The Singapore Grand Prix is much more than just a race; it is a 10-day festival of race-themed entertainment and activities. The event, known as Grand Prix Season Singapore, offers a wide range of exciting experiences, including concerts, dining and parties.

The unique feature of the on-track action taking place in the evening allows visitors to experience the city during the day, before heading to Marina Bay for an unforgettable night of racing. Singapore is a vibrant city that offers a wide range of activities for visitors, from shopping and dining to exploring its cultural districts, beaches and natural surroundings.

Singapore Grand Prix Ticket Inclusions

The Singapore Grand Prix is more than just a race. The event, known as Grand Prix Season Singapore, is a 10-day extravaganza of race-themed entertainment and activities, including concerts, dining experiences and parties showcasing the best of Singapore. Further details of exclusive events, discounts and promotions will be available closer to the race weekend.

Singapore Grand Prix Post-Race Concerts

One of the highlights of the Singapore Grand Prix is undoubtedly the post-race concerts. The concerts are included with your Grand Prix ticket and the Padang main stage is within easy reach of the Padang grandstand, which hosts the majority of the main acts. The 2025 headline acts were G Dragon and CL on Friday, Foo Fighters and Alan Walker on Saturday and Elton John on Sunday!

How to access your Singapore Grand Prix Tickets

Your Singapore Grand Prix tickets will be emailed to you around a couple of weeks before the race along with the rest of your travel documents. You can either print these out or simply save the document to your phone, or for those looking to keep everything in one place, you can also upload your tickets to the Singapore Grand Prix app.

How to get from your hotel to the Singapore Grand Prix

The easiest way to get to and from the track from your hotel in Singapore is by taking the East-West line 2 stops from Tanjong Pagar to City Hall. The 4-minute ride costs about $1 making this a great value way to get to and from the circuit. You can also walk and this will take around 25 minutes however with Singapore being hot and humid in October you may want to choose a more comfortable option.

Getting Around the Circuit

Located on the inside of the Marina Bay Street Circuit between Turns 9 and 10, the Padang Grandstand offers a unique perspective on the Singapore Grand Prix. The grandstand offers close proximity to the Padang Stage. This is where the biggest concerts take place throughout the weekend, including the headline acts.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit is divided into four zones, which means ticket holders may have access to different areas and concerts. Some tickets provide access to all four zones, while others restrict access to a specific zone. For example, the Padang Grandstand tickets only allow access to Zone 4. If you have a ticket that allows access to Zone 1 and 2, you will need to pick up a wristband to move between these zones.

Things to do in Singapore during the Grand Prix Weekend

Singapore is a vibrant city that offers a wide range of activities for visitors, making it the perfect destination for a Grand Prix weekend. During the day, you can explore the bustling city centre, go shopping on Orchard Road or enjoy a meal in Chinatown. Alternatively, you can take some time out to relax on the beach or enjoy the natural surroundings of this compact Southeast Asian city-state.

The party doesn’t have to stop when the racing does. Singapore has a thriving nightlife, with plenty of bars and clubs to choose from. If you have the stamina for it, you can keep the party going all night long.

Shopping: Singapore is a shopper’s paradise, with everything from high-end luxury goods to affordable souvenirs. Orchard Road is the main shopping street, but you’ll also find great deals in Chinatown and Little India.

Dining: Singapore is a melting pot of cultures, which is reflected in its diverse cuisine. You’ll find everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to street food stalls. Be sure to try some of the local favourites, such as chilli crab and chicken rice.

Nightlife: Singapore has a vibrant nightlife scene, with something to offer everyone. Clarke Quay is a popular spot for bars and clubs, while Marina Bay Sands is home to a casino and several rooftop bars.

Attractions: Singapore is home to a number of world-class attractions, including the Singapore Zoo, the Gardens by the Bay and the Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer is located within the Marina Bay Street Circuit, so you can enjoy a ride with great views of the track.

More Things To Do in Singapore

For a more immersive cultural experience, head to Chinatown or Little India. These vibrant districts are known for their delicious food, shopping and beautiful architecture. Little India also boasts the 24-hour Mustafa Centre, a budget shopper’s paradise, and Sim Lim Square, a haven for electronics enthusiasts. Those interested in colonial-era buildings will also find much to admire in this area. Chinatown is a great area to stay in for the Grand Prix weekend, as it offers a wide range of accommodation options and is within walking distance of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

With so much to see and do, you’re sure to have an unforgettable time at the Singapore Grand Prix. Check out our Singapore blog for even more destination inspiration.
