Planning a Norwegian Luna sailing in 2026 and want to know what’s on each night? This guide breaks down the full Norwegian Luna entertainment schedule, what each show actually delivers (not just the marketing line), which need a pre-booking, which carry an extra charge, and which suit which age group. We’ve also flagged which shows are worth queuing early for and which you can comfortably arrive at five minutes before curtain.
For the full ship overview and current sailings see our Norwegian Luna page. For a deeper review of life on board, our Norwegian Luna review covers what the experience is actually like.

Main theatre productions
ELTON: A Celebration of Elton John
Luna’s headline main-theatre production. ELTON celebrates the music of Elton John in a Vegas-style spectacular created by Norwegian’s Creative Studios in partnership with the team behind major concert tours, Vegas residencies and Broadway design. Expect high-energy choreography, powerful vocals and lavish costuming across the greatest hits, including dramatic staging built around grand pianos.
The show is included in your fare, suits all ages, and is the production guests talk about most when they disembark. Booking ahead through the Norwegian app is recommended.

HIKO: Innovation meets Wonder
HIKO is Norwegian’s most technologically ambitious show to date. A sci-fi-themed multimedia production that combines Cirque-style acrobatics, contemporary dance and projection technology Norwegian describes as a first at sea. The character HIKO also appears around the ship during the voyage, extending the experience beyond the theatre.
Included in your fare, suits all ages but particularly draws guests who appreciate immersive technology and physical performance.

Live music tributes at Syd Norman’s Pour House
Syd Norman’s Pour House is Norwegian’s in-house live-music venue, a rock-and-roll inspired bar that hosts dedicated tribute shows on a rotating schedule. On Luna, two productions sit at the heart of the programming:
Syd Norman’s Presents: A Tribute to Eagles
An evening dedicated to the Eagles, with the skilled musicians of Syd Norman’s working through the back catalogue: Hotel California, Take It Easy, Life in the Fast Lane and the rest. Sits at the energetic end of the evening programme.
Syd Norman’s Presents: Rumours
A full performance of Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 album Rumours, presented with the backstory of one of the most successful breakup albums in rock history. The Syd Norman’s cast walks through the band’s relationships and the album’s creation between songs. Strong choice for fans of classic rock and a more storied evening than the standalone tribute format.

Late-night entertainment
LunaTique: Pop Circus
The most distinct booking on the ship and the one with conditions worth knowing. LunaTique is an interactive, character-driven late-night experience featuring a troupe of pop-themed circus performers. Guests sip themed cocktails, the show plays out around them, and the energy is closer to a cabaret than a traditional theatre production.
Two things to flag: LunaTique is 21+ only (not 18+, which is unusual on a UK-popular cruise line), and it carries an additional cost on top of your fare. Pre-book through the Norwegian app, and double-check the age limit if travelling with under-21s.

Norwegian Luna Eclipse Party
A full music-festival-style dance party held on every cruise, themed around the Luna eclipse moment. Atmospheric lighting, modern dance music, an extended late-night format. Included in your fare and runs late.

Planetdisco
A classic-disco nightclub experience with a full ensemble of performers, a 1970s-leaning soundtrack and the kind of theatrical flourishes that suit a late-night format. Glamorous, social, designed for guests who want to see and be seen. Included.
Pool deck parties and signature events
Island Nights
A high-energy outdoor pool deck party that blends classic Caribbean rhythms with modern pop. Suits guests who want to be outdoors on a warm evening with a drink in hand. Included in your fare.
Latin LIVE!
A pool deck show built around live percussion, a full band and vocalists delivering Latin music classics. Less about a dance floor than the surrounding atmosphere, with live dance performances throughout the evening. Included.
Family entertainment
Sea of Discovery: An Under-the-Sea Festival
The standout family programme on Luna, designed for younger children and multigenerational groups. An interactive festival format with hands-on activities, games and a glow-themed underwater aesthetic. Light educational content woven in (marine life, conservation) without making the experience feel like a lesson.
One important caveat: Sea of Discovery runs on select sailings only, not every voyage. If this is important to your booking, ask our specialists to confirm it is on your specific itinerary.

Welcome aboard show
Luna First Night
The opening-night production that previews the rest of the programme. Short tasters of the headline shows, an introduction to the venues and the cast, useful timing for first-time cruisers planning the rest of the voyage. Strongly worth attending on the first evening even if you have sailed Norwegian before.
The Luna Theatre and the wider venue layout
The Luna Theatre is the principal performance venue, a three-storey space that transforms from a traditional theatre during main productions into a nightclub for Eclipse Party, Planetdisco and similar late-night events. The dance floor expands and the chandelier becomes interactive at night, which is part of why the same venue can serve two different formats.
Syd Norman’s Pour House sits separately and serves as the live-music tribute venue. The pool deck hosts Island Nights, Latin LIVE and the family festival format. LunaTique runs in its dedicated cabaret space.
“What stands out about Luna’s entertainment is the breadth. The ELTON show is the headline most guests book around, but the depth across Syd Norman’s tributes, the late-night format options, and the family festival makes this a ship where you can genuinely fill your evenings differently every night of a seven-night cruise.”

FAQs
Do I have to pay extra for any shows on Norwegian Luna? Only LunaTique: Pop Circus carries an additional cost. Every other show on the entertainment programme is included in your cruise fare.
How do I book the shows? The Norwegian app handles all entertainment reservations from a couple of weeks before sailing. Book the main theatre productions (ELTON and HIKO) first, then any pre-bookable Syd Norman’s sets and LunaTique. The deck parties and Luna First Night do not need a reservation.
Are all the shows family-friendly? Most are. LunaTique is the exception with a strict 21+ age limit. Some late-night dance parties (Eclipse Party, Planetdisco) run late but are not age-restricted, so suitability depends on your travelling party.
Can I see the same show more than once? Yes. ELTON and HIKO typically run multiple performances per voyage, so you can attend more than one if you want to. Pre-book each performance separately through the app.
Is the Sea of Discovery family festival on every sailing? No. It runs on select sailings only. If it matters for your booking, our specialists can check whether it is scheduled for your specific dates.
What is the dress code for LunaTique? No formal dress code, but the cabaret atmosphere tends towards smart-casual or playful. Comfortable enough to move around in given the interactive format.
