When should I add a drinks package to my cruise?
This is possibly the easiest question to answer. You’ll always get the best-priced drink package when adding it on before departure, in fact, you can save up to 15% against onboard prices, what’s more, drink package gratuities are included when pre-purchasing prior to departure.
For most sailings, MSC Cruises offers the chance to book your cruise with a Premium Extra Package bundled in with the total cruise fare at a heavily discounted rate. This is often as low as £35 per person per night which is nearly half the price of purchasing the same package separately after you have booked. If you think the Premium Extra Drink Package is the ideal drink package for you then we’d highly recommend adding this at the time of booking.

Are drink packages available on all sailings, fleet-wide?
Yes, drink packages are available on all MSC Cruises ships, excluding ships sailing in China.
Do the drinks included in all-inclusive drink packages vary depending on the ships, destinations or seasons?
Yes, the brand of the products may vary depending on the destination and the season.
Are gratuities included in the drinks package cost?
Yes. All MSC Cruises’ pre-paid and post-paid drink packages include gratuities.
Can drink packages be used on Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve?
Yes, all drink packages can be consumed in Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and on Sir Bani Yas in the United Arab Emirates. However, the island’s beverage offering may not include the full onboard beverage selection.
Will you serve alcohol on cruises calling on Saudi Arabian ports?
With respect to Saudi Law, alcohol will not be served during the calls in Saudi Arabian ports. Alcohol will be available to our guests when the ship sails in International Waters.
Which packages can be used in Speciality Restaurants?
Only the following all-inclusive drink packages can be used in the speciality restaurants:
– Easy Plus Package
– Premium Extra Package
– Minors package can be consumed in speciality restaurants too if the minor’s family/group purchased the Easy Plus or Premium Extra packages.
If an adult purchases an all-inclusive drink package, are underage guests in the same cabin required to do the same thing as well?
Yes, the Minors Package must be purchased for all underage guests travelling with adults who purchase an all-inclusive drink package.
Can I upgrade my drink package?
Yes, this option is available to all our guests. Pre-cruise, the upgrades are available only for guests with an all-inclusive drink package included in their cruise promotion, furthermore at a discounted price. On board, all upgrade options are open for all guests at full price.
If I choose a drink not included in the package, do I have to pay full price?
No. Guests who purchase alcoholic all-inclusive drink packages Easy, Easy Plus, or Premium Extra, and who want to enjoy cocktails, spirits and/or wines by the glass that are not included in their package, will pay only the price difference between the package allowance and the à la carte price of ordered drinks.
What drink package is included in the MSC Yacht Club Experience?
The Premium Extra Package is included for all MSC Yacht Club guests as part of their exclusive benefits.
