The brand-new luxury lifestyle cruise brand of the MSC Group Explora Journeys has proudly announced the first of many luxury partner brands which will be featured exclusively onboard EXPLORA I. This ship will be the first of the Explora Journeys ships to set sail this July. Explora Journeys’ first luxury partner brand will be the first-ever Rolex Boutique at sea.

Introducing the first Rolex Boutique at sea

The first Rolex boutique on board a ship is part of the unique shopping experience that Explora Journeys has created on board EXPLORA I. Passengers will have the chance to purchase some of the world’s most iconic timepieces by Rolex in the onboard shop fully devoted to the Swiss luxury watchmaker while sailing to the most sought-after locations on earth.

What experience will the store offer customers?

The new ‘Rolex at Sea mono brand’ store will offer travellers an unparalleled shopping experience. Its elegant design aesthetic is an invitation to browse an extensive range of models and styles.

Rolex is internationally recognised for its pre-eminent watchmaking expertise and the unique quality of its craftsmanship with its Headquarters in Geneva. The Oyster Perpetual watches, all “Superlative Chronometer” certified for their precision, performance, and reliability, are symbols of excellence, elegance, and prestige.

Rolex watches have accompanied achievers and explorers around the world from the top of the highest mountains to the deepest reaches of the ocean for over a century.

Knowledgeable and experienced hosts trained by Rolex will be operating the new Rolex boutique. They will ensure a curated shopping experience and will be on hand to assist discerning travellers with their purchases and inquiries.

Where will the Rolex Boutique be located onboard?

The store will be located in the Lobby on board EXPLORA I and will open on the 17th of July 2023 and will be available exclusively to Explora Journeys guests.

Michael Ungerer, CEO of Explora Journeys

“We are elated to be partnering with Rolex, a like-minded Geneva based Swiss luxury brand that very much shares our values and our long-term sustainable vision. It enables us to offer our discerning travellers the opportunity to purchase Rolex watches while sailing on board EXPLORA I. We believe that this new retail location will be a must-visit destination for anyone looking to add a touch of luxury to their journey experience.”
