Disney Cruise Line - Kid's Clubs - Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Disney Wish

Disney Cruise Line Kids Clubs

Disney Cruise Line kids clubs turn familiar Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars stories into places children can explore for themselves. Babies, young children, tweens and teenagers each have spaces designed around their age group, with games, creative activities, character visits and opportunities to make new friends. Specially trained youth counsellors supervise the programme, giving parents the freedom to enjoy the ship while younger guests begin adventures of their own.

Kids Clubs for Every Age

Disney Cruise Line divides its youth programme into age-specific clubs so that children can enjoy activities and surroundings suited to their stage of development.

“it’s a small world” nursery! welcomes babies and toddlers from six months to three years. Disney’s Oceaneer Club is designed for toilet-trained children aged three to ten, while Edge welcomes tweens aged 11 to 14 and Vibe is reserved for teenagers aged 14 to 17. The overlapping ages between Edge and Vibe allow some 14-year-olds to choose the environment that suits them best.

“it’s a small world” Nursery!

Disney’s nursery provides a colourful and comforting space where babies and toddlers can play, rest and receive care from trained counsellors. Play areas are filled with toys, books and interactive features, while quieter rooms allow younger guests to sleep away from the activity.

The nursery is available across the fleet for children aged six months to three years. On Transatlantic, Panama Canal and Hawaii cruises, the minimum sailing age is one year. Nursery sessions carry an additional charge, capacity is limited and reservations are strongly recommended.

Immersive Adventures for Ages 3 to 10

Disney’s Oceaneer Club

Disney’s Oceaneer Club invites children aged three to ten into themed environments inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars. Activities can include storytelling, games, crafts, experiments, character appearances and imaginative challenges, all led by specially trained Disney youth counsellors.

The exact spaces vary between ships. Children may train at Marvel Super Hero Academy, enter Star Wars: Cargo Bay, explore Fairytale Hall or discover how stories and attractions are created inside the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab. Disney Adventure offers its own collection of immersive spaces reflecting the characters and stories found throughout that ship.

Children must be fully toilet-trained to attend secured Oceaneer Club programming. Guests who are outside the age range or not yet toilet-trained can still explore the space with their families during scheduled Open House sessions.

Disney’s Oceaneer Lab

Available aboard Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, Disney’s Oceaneer Lab adds a greater emphasis on discovery, creativity and hands-on activities. Children can take part in experiments, arts and crafts, games and imaginative workshops guided by the youth team.

The Lab and Oceaneer Club are connected on these ships, allowing eligible children to move between the two areas during selected operating periods. Counsellors are available to guide younger children and help them find the activities they wish to join.

Disney Cruise Line - Kid's Clubs - Edge

A Tween Club for Ages 11 to 14

Edge

Edge gives tweens a place to spend time with guests their own age, away from both the younger children’s clubs and the teenage programme. Comfortable seating, large screens, gaming systems and creative spaces set the scene for films, music, video games, crafts, scavenger hunts, quizzes and themed activities.

Each Edge lounge has its own design. On Disney Wish, Treasure and Destiny, the club resembles a stylish New York loft, while Disney Adventure hides its tween space behind the appearance of a Victorian café on San Fransokyo Street. Activities are led by Disney youth counsellors but allow tweens greater independence to socialise and shape their own experience.

Disney Cruise Line - Kid's Clubs - outdoor sundeck, Vibe, Disney Dream

A Teen Retreat for Ages 14 to 17

Vibe

Vibe is a relaxed, teenagers-only space where guests aged 14 to 17 can meet, listen to music, watch films, play games and join activities created especially for their age group. The programme can include karaoke, dance parties, competitions, themed evenings and informal time with new friends.

Vibe looks different across the fleet. Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy combine an indoor lounge with an outdoor sundeck, while Disney Magic and Wonder place the club inside the ship’s forward funnel. Wish, Treasure and Destiny feature a contemporary Deck 12 retreat, and Disney Adventure draws inspiration from a vintage record shop.

The Hideaway

Aboard Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, The Hideaway provides an additional flexible social space connected with Vibe. It can host karaoke, music, games and events for older teenagers, before welcoming young adults aged 18 to 20 for selected evening programming.

The schedule and eligible age group depend on the individual activity, so guests should check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard.

Character Experiences in the Kids Clubs

Disney characters may appear during selected club activities, giving children the chance to interact with familiar faces in a more playful setting than a traditional meet-and-greet. Depending on the ship and programme, children could encounter Disney Princesses, Mickey and friends, Marvel Super Heroes or characters from Pixar and Star Wars stories.

Appearances and activities vary by sailing and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Families can check the Navigator app each day for the latest youth programme and character schedule.

What Can Children Do in the Kids Clubs?

The youth programme changes daily, giving children the freedom to join structured activities or enjoy the themed spaces at their own pace. Younger guests might solve a mystery with Disney characters, train like a Marvel Super Hero, create crafts, conduct an experiment or step into a favourite story.

Tweens and teenagers can take part in games, karaoke, dance parties, competitions, film nights and social events. The Navigator app lists each day’s programme, age requirements and club opening times, helping families decide which activities fit around meals, shows and time ashore.

Are Disney Cruise Line Kids Clubs Included?

Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge and Vibe are included in the cruise fare. Their supervised activities form part of the onboard family entertainment programme, alongside theatre shows, films, pools and character experiences.

The “it’s a small world” nursery! carries an additional charge and requires reservations. Other optional experiences, including Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers, royal tea parties and selected teen Port Adventures, are priced separately.

Disney Cruise Line Castaway Cay - Family beach

Kids Clubs at Disney Island Destinations

The supervised fun can continue ashore during selected calls at Disney’s Bahamian destinations. At Scuttle’s Cove on Disney Castaway Cay, younger guests can build sandcastles, join treasure hunts and take part in games led by Disney youth counsellors. Teenagers have their own Teen Hideout, providing a place to relax and spend time with friends.

At Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Sebastian’s Cove combines supervised activities with a splash pad inspired by Ariel’s grotto from The Little Mermaid. It gives children another adventure of their own while parents relax elsewhere on the island.

Family Time Beyond the Kids Clubs

The clubs are only one part of a Disney cruise. Families can also enjoy Broadway-style theatre productions, character encounters, deck parties, films, pools, splash areas and waterslides together. Rotational Dining brings everyone back around the table each evening, while children’s menus and themed restaurants make dinner part of the entertainment.

This balance allows children to enjoy independence in the clubs without families feeling that they must spend the holiday separately.
