Austin, Texas, plays host to the United States Grand Prix for the 13th time in 2025. The race will be held at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) from 17-19 October 2025. This purpose-built track, designed by Hermann Tilke, is a driver favourite and known for its challenging elevation changes. Paramount Cruises guests will be staying at the stylish Arrive Hotel, which is perfectly located for experiencing all that Austin has to offer both on and off the racetrack.

United States Grand Prix Ticket Inclusions

All our packages include weekend tickets in the Bleachers at Turn 9 or Turn 19A which both offer great vantage points for enjoying the race! Turn 9 offers a thrilling view as cars brake heavily from the long back straight and navigate the tight right-hand corner. It’s a prime location to witness overtaking manoeuvres and potential incidents. From Turn 19A, you will have a clear view of the cars accelerating out of the final corner and onto the start/finish straight, building up speed for the next lap. This grandstand provides a fantastic perspective of the pit lane exit and the starting grid.

For an upgraded experience, you might also consider these grandstand options. Please speak to our team for more information.

Main Grandstand: This offers a classic view of the start/finish line, the pit lane action, and the podium celebration2. It’s the heart of the circuit and provides an immersive experience of the race’s most crucial moments.

Turn 1: Another popular option, Turn 1, offers panoramic views as cars tackle the first corner after the start. The elevation change at Turn 1 provides an exciting perspective of the cars navigating the steep incline.

Turn 15: This grandstand overlooks a challenging complex of corners14, providing a unique perspective of the drivers’ skill and precision as they manoeuvre their cars through a series of tight turns.

United States Prix Post-Race Concerts

COTA will host concerts at the Germania Insurance Super Stage throughout the weekend. This years lineup includes Kygo on Friday, Garath Brooks on Saturday, and Turnpike Troubadours on Sunday after the race. The concerts take place at the Germania Insurance Superstage, located on the infield near Turns 10-11, with gates typically opening 90 minutes after the day’s on-track action concludes. All F1 ticket holders get free entry to these concerts, and upgrades are available for closer stage access.

How to access your United States Grand Prix Tickets

Your tickets will be available on The Circuit of The Americas app which we recommend you download in order to enhance your USGP experience because it is your comprehensive guide to navigating the circuit and maximizing your enjoyment of the weekend, offering effortless navigation using the app’s integrated GPS map, helping you locate entertainment areas, points of interest, grandstands, food and beverage stalls, and facilities with ease, giving you quick answers to any questions you might have to save you time, providing live updates to the weekend’s schedule, including race sessions, concerts, and other events, and keeping you informed and engaged throughout your time at COTA with features like live commentary.

How to get from your hotel to the United States Grand Prix

The Circuit of The Americas is located approximately 30km from downtown Austin. The easiest way to get to and from the circuit is by taxi or a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. During the race weekend, rideshare services will operate out of the McAngus parking lot, with a complimentary tram transporting guests from there to the Grand Plaza.

A more budget-friendly option is the COTA shuttle service, which runs continuously throughout the weekend. The shuttle has two pick-up and drop-off points: Downtown at Waterloo Park (which is just a 5-minute drive away from the hotel) and the Travis County Expo Center. The shuttle service can be very busy, especially after the race. You can pre-book your shuttle tickets closer to the race weekend.

Getting Around the Circuit

COTA provides a free internal tram service to transport you between different areas of the circuit. One tram route stops at Grand Plaza Lot B, the Main Grandstand, and Lot T near Turn 1, while the second stops at Grand Plaza Lot D, Tunnel 2 exit, and Lot H turnaround. Check the COTA app for a detailed tram route map.

Things to do in Austin during the United States Grand Prix Weekend

The USGP weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is more than just an adrenaline-fueled race; it’s a chance to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant city of Austin, one of our favourite places in the USA. Away from the on-track action, there’s a wealth of entertainment to discover, appealing to a range of interests. In 2024 the Williams F1 Austin Fan Zone provided an engaging experience for fans of the Williams team, featuring appearances by drivers Alex Albon and Franco Colapinto for Q&A and autograph sessions. Interactive activities like Scalextric racing and a scavenger hunt, alongside a heritage display and exclusive merchandise, make this fan zone a must-visit throughout the week leading up to the Grand Prix. For those seeking a taste of Austin’s nightlife, Summit Austin transforms into a Latin nightclub experience on Friday night, offering an energetic atmosphere after the Sprint Qualifying session.

Embracing the autumnal spirit, Austin offers a variety of events to celebrate the spooky season. The Austin Pumpkin Festival, with its corn pit, Ferris wheel, train ride, live music, and diverse pumpkin selection, provides a family-friendly way to enjoy the fall vibes. For a more refined Halloween experience, St. David’s Episcopal Church will host a spooky classical music concert, featuring Halloween classics and chilling horror movie scores performed by the Austin Camerata String Quartet. Continuing the musical theme, “The American Soundtrack” series at COTA will showcase a diverse lineup of performers, ranging from local bands to global superstars, across multiple stages throughout the circuit. While specific details for the 2025 event are yet to be confirmed, you can expect an impressive selection of musical acts to add to the weekend’s excitement.

More Things To Do in Austin

Austin offers plenty to see and do beyond the USGP weekend. Renowned as the “Live Music Capital of the World®”, the city pulsates with a vibrant energy that extends far beyond the racetrack. When not cheering on your favourite drivers, you’ll be able to immerse yourselves in a symphony of flavours and sounds that define this dynamic city. Austin’s music scene is legendary, with live performances gracing every corner, from intimate clubs to bustling taquerias1. Whether it’s the soulful blues of 6th Street and Red River or the electrifying rock of South Congress, there’s a rhythm to suit every taste.

Austin’s food scene is as diverse and exciting as its music, with a smorgasbord of options to tantalise taste buds. From the smoky allure of Texas barbecue to the spicy zest of Tex-Mex, Austin offers a culinary adventure. Guests can indulge in “true Texas barbecue” at hotspots like La Barbecue, County Line on the Hill, Terry Black’s, and Leroy and Lewis (Michelin star) or savour the flavours of “breakfast tacos” at the east side favourite, Juan in a Million. For those seeking a more global palate, Austin boasts a vibrant Asian food scene, with everything from authentic Thai and savoury Indian to mouthwatering ramen and delectable dim sum.

And what better way to complement a night of live music and delicious food than with a taste of Austin’s thriving craft beverage scene? Exploring Austin’s Craft Beverage Scene. For beer lovers, Austin’s booming craft beer scene is a must-explore. Breweries like The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co., Blue Owl Brewing, and Vista Brewing offer diverse selections ranging from classic lagers to experimental ales. Whether you prefer a traditional pint or something more adventurous, you’re sure to find a new favourite brew in Austin.

Wine enthusiasts will be delighted by Austin’s array of options, from urban wineries in the heart of the city to the sprawling vineyards of the nearby Texas Hill Country. With over 50 wineries in the Hill Country, a day trip to explore this scenic region is highly recommended. Some notable wineries to consider visiting include Meridian Hive Meadery, William Chris Vineyards, and Duchman Family Winery.

For those who prefer spirits, Austin and the surrounding Hill Country boast a remarkable collection of distilleries. Still Austin Whiskey Co. and Texas Saké Company, located in the city, offer unique tasting experiences. For a more immersive experience, a day trip to the Hill Country allows you to sample offerings from renowned distilleries like Treaty Oak Distilling and Deep Eddy Vodka.

Coffee lovers will find themselves right at home in Austin’s vibrant coffee culture. Greater Goods Roasting and Cuvée Coffee are excellent choices for those who want to savour locally roasted beans. For a more relaxed experience, Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden and Epoch Coffee offer welcoming atmospheres and Wi-Fi, perfect for unwinding with a delicious cup of coffee.
