Lima, Cusco & Machu Picchu Tour
Fly from Lima to Cusco and stay in the Sacred Valley, stopping in Chinchero to watch traditional Quechua weaving. Exploring the Sacred Valley on the next day with Pisac market and ruins, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero’s church and Inca stone wall. Getting ready to Machu Picchu by an early train from Urubamba to Aguas Calientes on day 3, then tour Machu Picchu’s main sites, including the House of the Guardian, Intihuatana, Temple of the Sun and the Sacred Plaza. After a good rest at Cusco, exploring the city by a tour of Koricancha, the Cathedral on Plaza de Armas, Sacsayhuamán and Tambomachay. Fly back to Lima and enjoy a half-day Lima tour of Huaca Pucllana, the historic centre, Plaza de Armas and the Convent of Santo Domingo.
