On Regent Seven Seas cruises, the dress code varies from casual to formal optional, depending on the time of day and specific events. During the daytime, resort-style casual wear, including jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes, is acceptable both onboard and ashore. However, swimwear is appropriate only at the Pool Bar and Grill and is restricted to the outer decks. After 6:00pm, the dress code shifts to elegant casual. Ladies might choose a skirt or slacks with a blouse or sweater, a pants suit, or a dress. Gentlemen can opt for slacks and a collared shirt; sport jackets are optional, and ties are not required. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, and caps are not allowed in the restaurants at any time or in public areas after 6:00pm.

For voyages lasting 16 nights or more, there are two optional formal nights. On these evenings, guests can adhere to the elegant casual dress code or choose more formal attire. Ladies may select gowns or cocktail dresses, while gentlemen might wear tuxedos, dinner jackets, or dark suits with a tie. As a general rule, these designated formal nights usually occur on the second and penultimate nights of the voyage, coinciding with the Captain's welcome reception and farewell dinner. On the final night of each voyage, the dinner dress code is relaxed to casual.
