Its 4.381km layout packs 14 corners into a natural hillside bowl, with a flowing sequence of bends and relatively few straightforward overtaking opportunities. Turn 1 remains the principal passing opportunity, while the technical middle sector rewards precision and makes qualifying particularly important.
There is plenty happening away from the racing too. The Hungaroring has undergone a major redevelopment in recent years, including renewed spectator and event areas, while fan entertainment forms an increasingly important part of Grand Prix weekend.
