The newest of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' three expedition sister ships, HANSEATIC spirit combines adventurous itineraries with the comfort and personal service of a ship carrying no more than 230 guests. Built for exploration in both polar and warmer waters, her small dimensions, PC6 ice class and Zodiacs open the door to remote coastlines, secluded landing sites and unusual waterways around the world.

The nature-inspired ship was refreshed during her first major docking period in 2026, while signature expedition features include panoramic outside areas, retractable glass balconies and the Ocean Academy. After a day of discovery, return to stylish accommodation, excellent dining and welcoming wellness spaces designed for life between adventures.
