Explora Journeys combines many of the costs normally added to a cruise fare into one thoughtfully inclusive experience. Nine culinary experiences, unlimited fine beverages, high-speed Wi-Fi, onboard gratuities and access to the Ocean Wellness thermal area are included, alongside group fitness and mindfulness activities. Your suite also welcomes you with Champagne, wine and a spirit of your choice, creating a relaxed journey with fewer extras to consider once onboard.

Nine Culinary Experiences
Every Explora Journey includes nine culinary experiences, ranging from Sakura, Marble & Co. Grill and Med Yacht Club to Fil Rouge, Emporium Marketplace and 24-hour In-Suite Dining. Crema Café, Explora Lounge and either the Gelateria & Crêperie or Shore Club on 11 complete the collection, depending on your ship. There are no cover charges for these included venues, although reservations may be required for selected restaurants.

Unlimited Fine Beverages
Fine wines, Champagne, premium spirits, beers, cocktails, speciality coffees, teas and soft drinks are included throughout the ship and in your suite. Drinks can be enjoyed in restaurants, bars and lounges without purchasing a separate package, while a further collection of rare wines, prestigious vintages and exceptional spirits is available at an additional charge.

Your In-Suite Welcome
Every suite welcomes guests with a bottle of Champagne on arrival, along with one bottle of wine and one bottle of spirit chosen according to personal preference. Beverages remain available in-suite throughout the journey, allowing you to enjoy a quiet drink inside your Home at Sea or outside on your private ocean-front terrace.
Thermal Facilities and Group Activities
Ocean Wellness
Access to the Ocean Wellness spa thermal area is included throughout your journey, providing a peaceful space to unwind and reconnect. Guests can also join selected group wellness, fitness and mindfulness activities without an additional charge. Massages, facials, specialist therapies, private sessions and other spa treatments are available separately.
Fewer Extras to Consider
Wi-Fi, Gratuities and Port Shuttles
Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the ship, making it easier to stay connected across your devices. Onboard gratuities are also included, so there is no compulsory service charge added to your account. Shuttle services between the port and city centre are provided where required and available, although the service and operating times vary by destination.
Elevated Inclusions for Ocean Residences
Guests staying in an Ocean Residence receive an elevated collection of benefits designed to make the journey feel even more seamless. These include priority embarkation, a private welcome area where available, priority luggage handling, enhanced In-Suite Dining, a fully stocked bar, unlimited laundry and pressing, and the support of dedicated Residence Hosts. Dining reservations open 120 days before sailing, while guests also receive an additional bottle of wine or spirit, savings on selected cellar wines, personalised consultations and up to two private ground transfers within 50 miles or 80 kilometres of the port, hotel or selected airport.
What Costs Extra with Explora Journeys?
Although the standard fare is extensive, several enhanced experiences are available at an additional charge.
Anthology
Anthology is Explora Journeys’ signature fine-dining experience, offering an Italian tasting menu created by Head of Culinary Franck Garanger. The tasting menu, optional wine pairing and any additional premium beverages are not included within the standard fare.
Chef’s Kitchen and Chef’s Table
The hands-on Chef’s Kitchen experience and the private Chef’s Table are not part of the nine inclusive culinary experiences. Both provide more personalised access to Explora’s culinary team and require a separate reservation and additional payment.
Premium Wines and Spirits
The included beverage selection is extensive, but rare vintages, prestigious Champagnes and selected premium wines, spirits and liqueurs are available to purchase. The Cellar, introduced aboard newer ships, also offers wines by the glass and bottle outside the standard inclusive collection.
Spa Treatments
Access to the Ocean Wellness thermal area and selected group activities is included. Massages, facials, Medi Luxe treatments, private spa suites, in-suite treatments and other specialist services carry an additional charge.
Destination Experiences
Shore excursions and Explora Journeys’ curated Destination Experiences are not generally included in the standard fare. They can be reserved separately, with options ranging from small-group sightseeing and culinary tours to private and more immersive experiences.
Shopping and Casino Spending
Purchases from onboard boutiques, fine-art collections and luxury retailers are additional, as are casino gaming, private transfers outside applicable Residence benefits and other personal spending.
