How Disney Rotational Dining Works

Rotational Dining is Disney Cruise Line’s distinctive approach to evening meals. Guests are assigned a different themed main restaurant each night, allowing everyone to experience the three venues included in their ship’s dining rotation. On cruises longer than three nights, some restaurants are visited more than once, often with a changing menu or entertainment programme.

Your serving team moves with you throughout the voyage, learning names, preferences, dietary requirements and favourite drinks along the way. Your restaurant schedule and table number are provided through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard, and children’s menus are available in every rotational restaurant.

Signature Rotational Dining Restaurants

Disney’s rotational restaurants combine dinner with storytelling, character appearances, live music and imaginative surroundings. The exact collection varies by ship, but every guest experiences three main dining venues as part of the included evening rotation.

The later sitting is automatically allocated to many online bookings, but guests can request a change through My Reservations or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Disney Cruise Line - Disney Destiny - Guests at Grand Hall

Dining Dress Code

Most Disney Cruise Line restaurants follow a relaxed cruise-casual dress code, although optional formal and semi-formal evenings may feature on selected itineraries. Adult-exclusive restaurants have a more polished standard, with formal, semi-formal or refined casual clothing recommended.

Dress trousers, well-kept jeans, collared shirts, dressy tops and smart footwear are accepted in premium venues. T-shirts, swimwear and sports clothing are not permitted, while dress shorts are accepted for selected Palo brunch experiences but not at Remy or Enchanté.

Dietary Requirements and Food Allergies

Disney Cruise Line offers gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free, no-sugar-added and lighter choices within its table-service restaurants. Lifestyle or cultural requests should normally be submitted at least 35 days before sailing through the Special Requests form in My Reservations.

Guests with severe allergies should complete the Special Services form no later than three days before embarkation and speak directly with the dining team once onboard. Disney takes steps to reduce cross-contact, but does not operate completely separate allergy-free kitchens.
