Day 2-4: Iguazu Falls StayArrive at Iguazu airport and transfer to the 4* Hotel Bella Italia located in the heart of the city. Relax by taking a dip in the outdoor pool or head out and explore the unique frontier town. Walk towards the southwest of the city and where the Rio Iguazu and the Rio Parana meet, you'll find the triple frontier, the border point between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
Day 3: Iguazu Falls TourAmongst all the waters of the world, nothing quite compares to or is more impressive than the natural spectacle provided by the stunning group of 275 cascading falls that make up the Iguassu Waterfalls. With an average flow of 10 million litres per second, the sheer velocity of the cascading water creates a huge mist cloud and roars with a deafening sound. Marvel at the biggest waterfall of them all, the 'Devil's Throat', which is a massive 90 meters high. During the rainy season, the stream of the Iguassu River increases and displays an even more wondrous spectacle.
Day 4: Fly Iguazu - Rio de JaneiroFly from Iguazu to Rio de Janeiro
Day 4: Pre-Cruise Rio de Janeiro StayArrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to the hotel for your one night pre-cruise stay. Treat yourself to a traditional Caiprinha or maybe an ice cold Antartica beer as you watch the world go by on the Atlantic shores of Copacabana beach.
Day 5-8: Brazilian Coastal CruiseEmbark the MSC Fantasia for your 4 day Brazilian coastal cruise to the stunning islands of Ilha Grande and Ilha Bella. Explore the beautiful islands by day then enjoy the fantastic facilities and entertainment onboard by night.
Day 8-12: Rio de Janeiro StayYou have four days to explore the amazing city of Rio de Janeiro at your leisure, your main worry will be where to start. Head up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue or take the cable car to the top of the Sugarloaf for sumptuous sunset views over the city. If you're wanting to join the locals and top up your tan you just need to choose which beach to lay your towel on. Will you head to relaxed Leme, the classic Copacabana, or the upmarket Ipanema? The choice is yours...
Day 10: Rio CarnivalHead over to the incredible Sambódromo to see the Special Group Parade where the following schools will battle it out. Sao Clemente, Vila Isabel, Salgeuiro, Unidos da Tijuca, Mocidade and Beija Flor. Guided transfer to the Sambódromo is included to and from the Sambadrome, using the subway with our leading Bookers Angel guide. Daily departure from the Helpdesk in Copacabana departs 7PM all days all parade days.
