Southern Caribbean Adventure |
Setting sail from New York you'll be heading south in search of Caribbean sun. You'll soon arrive in Labadee, Royal Caribbean's private destination on the northern coast of Haiti, before hopping west to Falmouth in Jamaica, where you can head straight to Water Square and jam out with the locals to live reggae. George Town in Grand Cayman is up next, here you'll need to grab a snorkel and swim alongside turtles and tropical fish in the Caribbean paradise. Heading further south you'll be able to discover the Colombian charm in Cartagena, the Old Town is a Unesco World Heritage Site, a maze of cobbled alleys with flowered covered balconies and imposing churches. Next up is the colonial city of Colón on Panama's Caribbean coast before docking in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, where a stroll along Playa Bonita, one of the country’s most popular beaches, is a must. Your final two stops on this two-week Caribbean adventure are the picture-perfect islands of Roatan in Honduras and Cozumel, just off the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, before you sail north into the Gulf of Mexico where your voyage comes to an end in the Texan port of Galveston. |

Austin - Live Music Capital of the World |
Austin surfaced as a music mecca back in the 60s and 70s when Willie Nelson went “on the road again,” Janis Joplin waited tables at Threadgill’s and Stevie Ray Vaughan played at Antone’s. Today some 2,000 musicians and recording artists call this free-spirited destination in the thick of Texas home, and as a result, the local music scene continues to grow and innovate amongst a long-standing tradition. As the sun goes down take a stroll down Austin’s most famous street for nightlife, Sixth Street. You can walk for more than a dozen blocks and discover some of the best restaurants, bars and live music venues including Maggie Mae’s, Parish, Midnight Cowboy and Shakespeare’s Pub. |
