Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is doing something never done before, by expanding their fleet with eight new ships across their three brands, Norwegian Cruise Line<\/a>, Oceania Cruise<\/a> & Regent Seven Seas Cruises <\/a>by 2036. Fincantieri, an Italian shipbuilder, will be creating the most efficient and innovative ships meeting the Company’s sustainability aims. In addition to this massive order, they also are planning on an enhanced private island development. With lots of excitings things to look out for in the next decade with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, let’s explore their plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norwegian Cruise Line<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By 2036, Norwegian Cruise Line will have an additional 4 ships in its fleet. The new ships will be 200,000 gross-ton, being able hold a capacity of nearly 5,000 guests. The first of the four ships is planned to be delivered in 2030 then every two years after. These new ships will be followed by the delivery of four Prima-Plus class ships from 2025 through to 2028. This will be a huge expansion to Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, allowing more customers to cruise along with them across many destinations<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also allows us to significantly leverage our operating scale, strengthen our commitment to innovation and enhance our ability to offer our guests new products and experiences, all while providing opportunities to enhance the efficiency of our fleet. Oceania Cruises <\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following the success on Oceania Cruises with their Allura Class ships, with the next one to be delivered in 2025. They have put in an order of two 86,000-gross-ton ships that will be able to hold a capacity of 1,450 guest in 2027 and 2029. This will give Oceania 10 ships in total, giving more guests a high end luxury experience across the whole globe with destinations such as Africa, Asia & The Indian Ocean, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Russia, explore more of their destinations here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regent Seven Seas Cruises<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With Regent Seven Seas Cruises being the last of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which recently won an award for their Explorer Class ships, will be taking on an additional two 77,000-gross-ton ships, holding a capacity of 850 passengers each. These ships will be out in 2026 and 2029. This will give the company a total of seven ships stopping at great locations including Dubai & Emirates, Egypt & Red Sea, Caniers, Europe and more<\/a>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Pier Development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings private island destination in the Bahamas is the top-rated Caribbean port of call. With plans to start in summer 2024 for it to be opened to guests by late 2025. The new pier will be built to accommodate not just one ship but two of the current and future ships. The new pier will give guests an experience on Great Stirrup Cay as well as the company’s other private island in Belize. Great Stirrup cay is planned to provide guests a private time away from the public to relax and enjoy the many amenities on the private island. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
