Cunard <\/a>has finally announced the name of their much anticipated new ship which is set to join the fleet in early 2024. Cunard\u2019s 249th ship in the line’s 182-year history will be named Queen Anne<\/a>. This will mark the first time since 1999 that Cunard will have four ships at sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name Queen Anne<\/a> <\/strong>celebrates Cunard<\/a>\u2019s rich heritage, royal history and refined status-joining a luxury contemporary fleet now honouring the names of each Queen Regnant over the last millennium. British historian, author and television presenter, Kate Williams, worked closely with the team at Cunard, assisting them meticulously throughout the research stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is so exciting that the fourth ship of the fleet will be named after Queen Anne. She has a fascinating tale to tell \u2013one of queenship, unity of developing constitutional monarchy, a golden age of the arts. She was an inspiring woman, wildly popular with her people. She should be celebrated. This new ship in the Cunard fleet is the perfect way to do it!<\/p>\nKate Williaams, Professor of Public Engagement with History at the University of Reading<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Queen Anne<\/a> is set to feature a host of reimagined Cunard <\/a>signature spaces as well as the introduction of new guest experiences within dining, culture and entertainment, for an unparalleled cruise experience underpinned by the classic and outstanding White Star Service. With the aim of bridging tradition and contemporary luxury, Queen Anne celebrates the influential design styles of both past and present as well as introducing an updated Cunard livery. <\/p>\n\n\n
