Royal Caribbean<\/a> has today announced a change of course as the world\u2019s largest cruise ship, <\/em><\/a>Wonder of the Seas<\/a>, will now debut in the U.S. and Europe. Royal Caribbean’s newest ship was originally due to homeport in Asia, with her first cruises planned to depart from Shangai, China in March 2022, however, the evolving situation with regards to international cruises in Asia has clearly lead to a change of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brand New Wonder of the Seas Itineraries<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wonder of the Seas<\/a> will now set course for the USA, she will set to sail from her new home in Fort Lauderdale with cruises to the Caribbean <\/a>due to begin on the 4th of March 2022. Wonder will then be making her way across the Atlantic to Europe where she will homeport in Barcelona <\/a>and Rome <\/a>to kick off summer vacations in the Mediterranean from May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\u00a0<\/em>action-packed ship will set sail on 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean <\/a>from Fort Lauderdale, visiting tropical destinations such as Cozumel in Mexico, Philipsburg on the island of St. Maarten, San Juan the capital of Puerto Rico, and more. No matter the itinerary guests choose, every sailing will visit Royal Caribbean\u2019s very own private island destination,\u00a0Perfect Day at CocoCay<\/a>, for a day of thrill and chill unlike any other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From May onwards this wondrous Oasis Class ship <\/em>heads for the Mediterranean to take centre stage for its inaugural European season. Departing from Barcelona <\/a>and Rome <\/a>on 7-night Western Mediterranean <\/a>cruises, visiting the sparkling shores of Europe\u2019s most iconic and historic destinations, such as the Balearic island of Mallorca in Spain and the beautiful island of Capri, just off Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast.<\/p>\n\n\n

I’m already booked on Allure of the Seas for Summer 2022, what happens now?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wonder of the Seas <\/a>will sail in the Mediterranean <\/a>in 2022 in place of Allure of the Seas. Following this change Allure will now sail from Fort Lauderdale on new\u00a06- and 8-night Caribbean cruises, which have been opened today for brand new bookings. Any guests currently booked on Allure\u2019s 2022 Mediterranean itineraries will automatically be reprotected to sail on the brand new ship Wonder of the Seas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
